We are seeking a Support Services Worker to join our team in our Aged Care home. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals and contributing to a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents.

The Role:
As a Support Services Worker, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, support the Chef with meal planning, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, food storage, and dining areas.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in line with dietary requirements and food safety standards
- Support the Chef with meal planning, preparation, plating, and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, food storage, and dining areas
- Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and follow daily cleaning checklists
- Help with the setup and service of meals to residents in dining rooms or individual rooms
- Ensure all kitchen and food safety regulations are followed, including correct storage and labelling
- Communicate any dietary concerns, resident feedback, or safety issues to relevant staff
What you will bring:
- Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Working rights in Australia
- Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and Empathy
- An understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential)
