Are you an experienced healthcare/practice manager with nursing experience who thrives in a fast-paced setting? Do you have the leadership skills to oversee both clinical and non-clinical teams in a high-performing urgent care setting?
SACC operates Urgent Care Clinics at Sandringham Hospital, Prahran and Frankston. We are seeking a full-time Clinic Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at our Frankston site, with oversight of nursing and reception staff.
The Role
Reporting to the executive responsible for Clinical Services, the Clinic Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations across the clinic. You will:
- Lead and support both the nursing and reception teams.
- Maintain a focus on patient experience, quality, and safety.
- Ensuring training, and performance support for staff.
- Support doctors with service delivery and ensure compliance with clinical governance processes.
- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time role, with a minimum of 38 hours per week. Flexibility may be required to align with operational needs.
You'll be hands on in the clinic performing clinical and administration shifts.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Previous management or team leader experience in a healthcare setting (Urgent Care, Emergency, or General Practice highly regarded).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Clinical qualifications (e.g. Registered Nurse) is neccessary.

Sandringham Ambulatory Care Centre (SACC) was established in 2017 in order to better aid the Bayside community by taking pressure off the emergency department, seeing patients with minor injuries such as fractures, skin infections and wound management. We run a number of services including General Practitioner services which support the Emergency Department.
We have a dedicated team of clinical and non-clinical staff who are focused on helping people in their time of need, delivering high quality care and providing a vital service to alleviate pressure off the emergency departments.
