Job Title: Farm Operations Coordinator
The role involves direct supervision and coordination of farm operations ensuring that tasks such as cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, and equipment maintenance are carried out effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the Field Activities Manager to oversee field operations related to planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvest of fruit.
* Coordinate/supervise harvest and field schedules and priorities with the Farm Manager.
* Supervise a team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
* Manage tools, equipment and labour to ensure all resources are suitable for assigned tasks and used effectively.
Skills Required:
* A strong knowledge of field operations including relevant workplace health and safety requirements.
* Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Well-developed problem-solving skills including the capacity to identify issues, analyse situations, and implement practical solutions in a supervisory environment.
