Male Disability/Aged Care support worker wanted for immediate start, regular/ongoing hours.
Location: Nowra & surrounding suburbs.
Small local franchise currently expanding, with local management & local clients.
We have 1 position available for the successful male applicant.
We are looking to commence a male support worker with 1 participant to begin, who is an NDIS participant and lives with complex behaviours.
It is highly regarded if the successful candidate either has experience with complex behaviours, and demonstrated knowledge on restrictive practices/safe-guarding/mandatory reporting, or be prepared to learn and instil these practices in their supports.
Support hours are based in Nowra and are 3-4hrs per support. Times/days TBC. Aiming for approx.; 10-14 hrs per week.
Increased hours: The successful male support worker will have the option of building their client-base as more clients/participants onboard, after a successful trial-period.

We are seeking Casual Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to a range of fantastic clients and participants in various towns within the Shoalhaven.
Our Support Workers are home-based and utilise a mobile work model (with electronic support for administration), attracting a travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities, appropriate to client need.
There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.
All Support Workers are paid according to the SCHADS award and have the ability to build their personal client-base according to what their own circumstances/priorities.
Main responsibilities and activities may include (support worker MUST be prepared to complete tasks below if required):
Assistance with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)
Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
Assistance with medications
Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
