This is your chance to apply your legal knowledge in a real-world setting - preparing documents, conducting legal research, opening matter files, and even attending board meetings.What You’ll Learn & DoLegal SupportDraft and proofread legal documentsReview and summarise contracts and legal materialsConduct legal research and summarise findingsPrepare correspondence, and court filesRespond to Court subpoenasAttend meetings as neededMaintain legal schedules and assist with reporting (including team reports)Governance SupportDraft agendas and compile Board papersAttend Board meetings and take minutesAssist in preparing governance documentationAbout youA 3rd or 4th year law student at an Australian universityCompleted core law subjects (contracts, torts, property)Strong communication and research skillsA keen eye for detail and a proactive attitudePrevious paralegal experience is a plus, but not essentialReady to kickstart your legal career with purpose?
