Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for Community Clinician (0-25) to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time ongoing basis.

The Community Clinician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality services and evidence-based care to children, adolescents, young people, and their families. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical assessment, intervention, and recovery-focused support, ensuring care is trauma-informed, culturally safe, and consumer-centred.

The role of the Community Clinician is:

- Conduct timely acute, urgent and routine clinical assessments, including risk and safety planning.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group and family work.
- Collaborate with consumers, carers, and community organisations to support recovery-orientated care.
- Monitor and support both mental and physical health needs, providing psychoeducation where appropriate.
- Contribute to care planning, reviews, and discharge planning alongside the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in supervision, quality improvement, and service development.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Worker with relevant professional body (AHPRA or AASW).
- Minimum 2 years\' post-registration experience in mental health or working with children/young people.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, risk management, and therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage effectively with families, carers and community services.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to continuous learning and reflective practice.

LRH cares for a population of about 300,000 and is the regional provider of specialist services. Our catchment covers 42,000 square kilometres, from Phillip Island to Mallacoota in the far east of Victoria. LRH offers a range of services including cardiac care, surgery, medical, renal, emergency care, aged care, women\'s and children\'s services, pharmacy, allied health and rehabilitation. Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre. The 223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024 enhanced maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
