This is a hands‐on, execution-focused role working closely with the executive team and senior investment professionals. You will be responsible for producing, formatting, and distributing Blackwattle's marketing content across multiple channels and formats - including written commentary, video, audio, social media, and visual design.
The role is suited to someone with + 3 years' experience (including recent graduates) who is creative, organised, and motivated by working at the centre of a high-performing investment firm. You don't need a finance background - you need to be excellent at producing polished content, quick.
The position is part time/casual/contract, and 2 - 2.5 days per week, with genuine scope to grow as the firm's marketing capability expands.
This role is Sydney based.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce, format, and publish investment commentary, fund updates, thought leadership, and client communications across written, visual, and digital formats
* Create and edit short‐form video
* Support audio and voice content production including podcast segments, market commentary, and video narration
* Design graphics, infographics, and visual assets using Canva and AI‐powered design tools
* Schedule and distribute content across social platforms, email marketing platforms, the website, and other relevant channels
* Build and maintain templates for recurring content (monthly reports, market updates, social posts)
* Maintain the content calendar and coordinate with investment team members to source commentary, data, and insights
* Monitor engagement metrics and provide basic reporting on content performance
* Contribute to process improvement, automation, and the development of Blackwattle's marketing platform
* Aid management and execution of events
