Position- Mechanic

Ross Gray Motor City has been servicing and repairing vehicles for over 30 years with a team of fully qualified motor vehicle mechanics.

Ross Gray has a reputation for servicing Mazda, Mitsubishi, MG, GMSV and Holden vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking automotive technician to join our talented team here at Ross Gray Motor City. This is a full-time role with a wage and package to be negotiated upon hire.

Tasks and Responsibilities

* General car servicing and repairs.
* Identifying issues with vehicles through inspections.
* Test driving vehicles when required.
* Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults.
* Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and more on passenger cars.
* Identifying vehicle concerns through the use of manufacturer based computer programs and scan tools.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

* 2-3 years' experience in the automotive industry.
* Relevant qualifications.
* Beneficial but not essential - Vehicle examiner and Automotive A/C licence preferred.
* Manual Driver's licence required.
* Own tools are essential.
* Good communication skills and able to work independently or as part of a team

Monday to Friday - No weekends to enable a better work/life balance.
