Project Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage infrastructure projects in the mining and minerals processing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and close-out.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across scope, budget, and schedule.
* Provide strong interface management and stakeholder engagement within an operational site environment.
* Apply sound engineering judgment to interpret designs and ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and procedures.
* Oversee and coordinate project activities across disciplines, ensuring quality and performance objectives are met.
* Support safety initiatives and integrate HSE principles into all phases of project delivery.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Engineering (mechanical/piping).
* PMP or equivalent project management certification.
* Extensive amount of engineering experience, including significant exposure to project management in the resources sector.
* Strong background in mechanical or piping disciplines.
* Demonstrated experience delivering EPC/EPCM projects, ideally in mining or heavy industrial environments.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based setting with some flexibility built in.
