About the role
In this newly created leadership role, you will coordinate theday-to-day operations of the Kalgoorlie Aboriginal Short StayAccommodation (KASSA), ensuring the delivery of safe, culturallyresponsive and high-quality services.
You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, providingguidance, supervision and coaching to build capability and maintainstrong service delivery. The role involves overseeing intake,managing risk and incidents, and ensuring individuals and familiesreceive access to high quality accommodation.
This is a hands-on full time leadership role where youwill balance operational leadership with meaningful communityimpact.
About you
You're a confident leader who thrives in dynamic environmentsand is passionate about supporting Aboriginal communities. Youbring a collaborative approach, strong decision-making skills, andthe ability to lead teams through complex and sensitivesituations.
In addition, you will also possess:
* A relevant qualification in Social Work, CommunityServices, Human Services or similar (or equivalent experiencein a leadership role)
* Demonstrated experience leading teams in community servicesor a similar setting
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safepractice
* Experience managing service delivery, including intake,risk and incident management
* Ability to work autonomously while managing competingpriorities
* Current Driver's Licence
* Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)
