**Our Opportunities**
The Strategy and Governance Branch (SGB) is responsible for providing strategic analysis, advice and coordination to support the Attorney-General, portfolio ministers, the Attorney-General's Department (AGD), and portfolio agencies.
SGB provides a range of critical business support functions in the cabinet, legislation, parliamentary, ministerial, media, and communications spaces; manages AGD's governance and accountability arrangements, including freedom of information, privacy, and risk management; and leads work on business improvement initiatives, strategic policy projects, stakeholder engagement, and the department's approach to embedding priority reforms under the National Agreement on Closing the Gap into the way AGD operates.
SGB is seeking talented and enthusiastic officers with a strong client service focus to join us in a range of coordination, secretariat, strategic and specialist roles. Every role in SGB provides business-critical support to the portfolio, helping the department and portfolio can deliver high-quality and high-impact outcomes for the Australian people.
