About us:
Gumma Gundoo Indigenous Maternal and Infant Outreach provide care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women or women with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander child. The service provides care for the mother and the infant during pregnancy and the early weeks after birth.
About the role:
Provide a reliable transport service for clients travelling to and from appointments, including hospital visits, scans, and antenatal clinics.
Safely deliver and collect mail, laboratory specimens, medical records, and other goods between designated locations.
Operate a courier service to support the timely distribution and collection of essential items.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure efficient service delivery.
Deliver a culturally appropriate, client-focused service that supports the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
This position will require flexibility regarding working hours.
About you:
This position requires the incumbent to operate a 'C' Class motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
While not mandatory, a current first aid certificate is highly desirable.
Experience in the provision of a safe and quality focused environment by ensuring safe work practices.
Ability to provide culturally appropriate, client-focused service that supports the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
Ability to work independently or part of a team with limited supervision.
Ability to evidence the ability to be flexibility regarding working hours.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $16,502 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $33.76 - $36.32 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
