We are seeking a professional to take on the role of Assistant State Inspector.
About the Role
* This is an opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to contribute to improving workplace safety across Regional NSW.
* The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with Industry Associations, hosting industry forums, and providing leadership and expertise on emerging safety issues.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Responding to requests for service and incidents, conducting proactive compliance and engagement activities across all harms, risks, and industries.
* Implementing educational and awareness activities, attending and presenting at events that support industry associations and other stakeholder groups.
* Conducting inspections and investigations to improve workplace safety outcomes.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Specialist experience, qualifications, and knowledge in workplace safety and inspection.
* Able to develop and lead mentoring and training programs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with industry associations and regulatory frameworks.
