Provide leadership and manage the coordination of the assigned Quality and Patient Safety portfolio. Support the effective and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education, and nursing research functions for the Quality and Patient Safety portfolio.

The Hospitals – North West Quality & Patient Safety Service coordinates and promotes Patient Safety Programs, Quality Improvement, Risk and Incident Management.

The Role
- Provides leadership and manages the coordination of the assigned Quality and Patient Safety portfolio within Hospitals North West across the North West region.
- Supports the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education, and nursing research functions for the Quality and Patient Safety portfolio within Hospitals North West.
- Has a sound understanding of accreditation, including the implementation of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards.

Qualifications
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

Salary & Allowances
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
