About the opportunity
RSL Victoria, the state's oldest and largest veteran charity is seeking a dynamic Partnership Development Manager to lead the growth of its strategic partnerships program. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an organisation who strives to best support all generations of ex-service members and their families through vital services, advocacy, wellbeing and community connection.
As a member of our Fundraising, Marketing and Communications team, your key responsibilities will be identifying and securing new partnership opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners. You will create pitch proposals and manage a growing portfolio of valued partners and engage with community and key stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to our strategic plan and mission which will enable you to make a significant impact.
About you
You are a strategic thinker with the proven ability to develop meaningful partnerships and deliver significant income growth. With a passion for relationship management, you understand the power of connection and know how to turn ideas into mutually beneficial outcomes.
You thrive in a purpose-led environment and are confident managing a portfolio while securing new relationships from the ground up.
You will also have:
* At least 5 years' experience in business development and partnership management in the not-for-profit sector
* A proven track record in securing new partnerships, creating pipelines and exceeding revenue targets
* A proven track record in securing new partnerships, managing prospect pipelines and exceeding revenue targets
* Strong experience in developing proposals, business cases, and presentations that drive engagement
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders
* Tertiary qualifications in a related field (Fundraising, Marketing, Communications or similar), or relevant life experience
