We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Site Manager to join the Fredon AIR WA team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing live projects across various locations.
The key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Ensure compliance with our clients and Fredon's HSEQ policies, procedures and key deliverables across projects life cycle.
* Scheduling, monitoring and reporting progress across all project stages to the Project manager and head contractor.
* Workforce planning, resourcing, and sourcing materials for live projects
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure variation claims are recorded and information issued to all relevant stakeholders.
* Manage subcontractor variation claims and works
* Complete daily site reporting and provide status reports monthly to the project manager
* Ensuring specification compliance and monitoring and generating defects and NCR's where applicable
* Management of subcontractor deliverables and scheduling of work fronts, material availability and deliveries.
* Programme management ensuring access and works adhere to project requirements.
* Complete ITPs, ITCs and any quality and compliance reporting required from site in line with site progress and project deliverables.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly project reports
* Complete As-Built documentation including drawing amendments and feedback to engineering team for modification to as built documentation.
* Ensure site PPE and site specific safety equipment is available at all times
* Arrange testing and tagging of equipment to ensure compliance
* Attend site coordination meetings
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
* 5 plus years' experience as a Site Manager or supervisor within the services construction or mechanical construction industry.
* Must have a valid WA driver's licence and white card
* Proven knowledge of services and general construction requirements, and progress reporting, tracking and reporting.
* First Aid training is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of industry regulations
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
* Excellent client relationship skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Efficient in Microsoft software suite
