Role Description
This is a contractor (with scope to move to Permanent Part Time for the right candidate), on-site position for a Diploma of Community Services CHC52025 Trainer/Assessor located in our new campus in Canberra ACT. This is for a CRICOS provider requiring 2 days per week (flexible on which days) plus additional time for assessing.
The role involves delivering engaging and effective training sessions, assessing student coursework to ensure compliance with relevant standards, and providing guidance and support to students throughout their studies. The Trainer/Assessor will also contribute to course content development and work collaboratively with other staff to maintain a high standard of training delivery.
Qualifications
* Minimum Diploma of Community Services CHC52021/ 25 with 3 years post qualification Level 5 experience
* Strong Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and experience working with international students
* Ability to mentor and guide students effectively throughout their learning journey
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) is required
* Sound knowledge of the CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services qualification framework
* Passion for education and skills development in a supportive learning environment
