ACM is excited to offer a full-time position for Farm Field Service Officer to join our Team. This position provides opportunity to grow and develop your career in the highly sort after Dairy sector.
About the role
The role of the Farm Field Service Officer is to primarily support ACM's direct farm suppliers in the Gippsland Region of south-east Victoria. Predominately covering conventional milk suppliers, with a potential role to play with A2 and organic suppliers, in the areas of:
* Milk supply forecasting
* Milk quality
* Monthly Reporting
* Recruiting of suppliers
* Retention of suppliers
* Competitor analysis
* ACM assistance programs
* Autonomous home and field based role
Duties and Responsibilities
Engaging with suppliers to ensure they understand the culture of ACM and its pricing model. Essentially ACM's structure is based on bringing stability through our pricing model to provide certainty to our suppliers.
Acting honestly with transparency and integrity, duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Engagement with suppliers
* Farm visits
* Working with Farmers to develop pathways for long term engagement
* Focus on achieving high quality farm milk production
* Encouragement to suppliers to be compliant with their food safety programs
* Recruit and retain milk to ensure ACM has enough supply to meet its demands
* Forecasting individual supplier milk production for the purpose of ACM S&OP analysis
* Participation in weekly and monthly team review meetings
* Participation in regional dairy industry forums, as required
* Liaising with ACM logistic and transport companies
* Understanding activities of competitors
* Encouraging suppliers to access ACM support programs
* Regular on farm visits
* Participation in training and development to keep abreast of industry standards
* Participation in on-call after hours/weekend roster
* Maintain a valid drivers licence

Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualification in a related area (eg: agricultural science or environmental science) preferred
* Dairy industry knowledge and experience preferred, but not essential.
* Minimum five years' experience working with suppliers to build strong relationships
* Strong analytical skills
* Sound literacy, numeracy, communication and computer skills
* Demonstrate willingness to learn, initiative and strong work ethic
* Organised with excellent time management skills
* Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
