Test Lead - Enterprise Microsoft Transformation (Contract)
6-month contract | Geelong-based | Immediate start
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to support a large-scale enterprise Microsoft transformation program involving cloud platforms, SaaS applications, integrations, and data services. This role will lead end-to-end testing across multiple delivery streams and vendors within a complex, regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
* Define and own the enterprise test strategy across a multi-stream Microsoft transformation
* Develop and manage a master test schedule spanning cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, integrations, and data services
* Lead system, integration, end-to-end, UAT, regression, and release readiness testing
* Coordinate testing across multiple vendors, system integrators, and internal delivery teams
* Provide hands-on leadership for high-risk, technically complex testing activities
* Govern defect management, triage, escalation, and quality reporting
* Lead and embed automated testing capability, including tooling, frameworks, and CI/CD integration
* Provide clear, evidence-based quality, risk, and release readiness advice to senior stakeholders
Technical environment
* Microsoft ecosystem (cloud and enterprise platforms)
* SaaS and COTS platforms
* API and integration-heavy architecture
* Data platforms and migration activities
* Hybrid Agile / Waterfall delivery
What you'll bring
* Proven experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager on large, complex enterprise transformations
* Demonstrated ownership of test strategy and integrated test planning
* Experience coordinating testing across multiple vendors and delivery partners
* Strong background in cloud, SaaS, integrations, and enterprise platforms
* Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
* Strong stakeholder engagement and delivery focus
* ISTQB or equivalent certification desirable
Contract details
* Duration: 6 months
* Location: Geelong, 3 days in the office hybrid
* Rate: Competitive daily rate
