ICT Officer – Moranbah

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time ICT Officer to join our Information Solutions team. This position is pivotal in providing technology support including computers, phones and network issues for internal staff across Isaac Regional Council.

To be successful in this position, you will:

* Deliver exceptional customer service while managing ICT helpdesk requests and prioritizing tasks effectively.
* Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
* Work autonomously and take initiative to identify and resolve technical issues without direct supervision.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to build positive working relationships.
* Possess hands-on experience with Windows-based desktop environments supporting 300+ users.
* Show proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other common IT systems, ensuring smooth operations and user support.
* Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records and ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
* Prepare and update technical documentation and procedures to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
* Collaborate effectively within a team environment while managing personal work priorities and deadlines.
* Apply a professional, ethical, and customer-focused approach in all interactions, promoting Council's values.

If you are successful in this position, you will receive:

* Salary $82, $90,205.62 per annum
* Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight
* RDO's in accordance with Council Policy
* 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
* 15 days personal leave per annum
* Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
