About the Role
Are you a passionate, high-energy chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Pony and Cole—Adelaide's premier award-winning brunch destination—is looking for a hands-on Breakfast Chef with supervisory skills to join our creative kitchen team in Hindmarsh.
This isn't just a \"flipping eggs\" job. We make our own dishes, and sauces from scratch. You will be a key part of a team that delivers innovative, high-quality dishes like our signature Pork Belly Benny and monthly pancake specials to a loyal and growing crowd.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Qualifications: Must hold a relevant Trade Certificate (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery).
* Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead a section, manage junior staff, and ensure consistent quality during peak service.
* Leadership Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a kitchen environment is required.
* Technical Savvy: Experience in stocktakes, costings, menu development, and recipe standardisation is a significant advantage.
* Reliability: Weekend work is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
