Facilities Coordinator
This is a part-time role involving cleaning and maintenance of the school premises.
The Facilities Coordinator will work on the afternoon shift only, Monday to Friday, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Mullaloo Beach Primary School is a primary school in Perth, Western Australia with around 290 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Key Responsibilities:
* School Premises Management: The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the school premises, including setting the security alarm system.
* Cleaning and Maintenance Duties: You will perform cleaning and maintenance duties, which may include stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.
* Team Leadership: You will ideally have good communication and interpersonal skills and lead a team of staff to ensure the school environment is maintained in accordance with Department of Education policies and procedures.
* Communication and Liaison: You will liaise with the relevant authorities on all matters related to cleaning and maintenance and be responsible for monitoring and ordering stock and stocktake of resources.
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated ability to read and apply safety protocols and equipment operating instructions.
* Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to, use cleaning equipment including polishers, vacuum cleaners and pressure cleaners.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions and work as a member of a team.
