About the role
As a Truck and Dog Operator at KM Bulk Haulage Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk materials locally and will be home every night. Working on a full-time basis from our Beaudesert depot, you will need to be able to work unsupervised and work some Saturdays.
What you'll be doing
· Operating a Kenworth T409 SAR 18 speed manual truck and dog trailer combination to transport a variety of bulk materials such as sand, gravel, and aggregates carting from different quarries into civil sites, concrete plants, and landscape yards.
· Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials at various sites
· Washing, greasing and minor maintenance of truck when needed
· Drug and alcohol testing maybe required on some job sites
What we're looking for
· A valid HC driver's licence - must supply traffic history on request
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a truck and dog is required
· Knowledge of relevant road transport regulations
· Be reliable and have good work ethics
· Knowledge of South East QLD is an advantage but not necessary
· Willing to negotiate wage for right candidate
· Must have Australian work rights
