We are seeking a Work Health & Safety Officer to work with the HR team at our Erskine Park Office. This role can be part time or full time.
The following are key areas but not limited to them in this role;
- Develop a strong working relationship with the Flower Power store managers
- Lead and manage Workplace Health and Safety.
- Develop and implement a Workplace Health and Safety strategy ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Build a new Workplace Health & Safety framework.
- Review and update existing policies and procedures.
- Proactively assist centres to implement their health and safety work plans.
- Assist in the implementation of a programmed approach to regular workplace audits, workplace inspections, hazard/near miss reporting and risk assessments.
- Investigate illness/injury and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
- Maintain all aspects of Workers' Compensation management and Return to Work Coordination.
- Management and administration of the company's formal licensing requirements including but not limited to Forklift, Loader licenses and First Aid certificates.
- Coordinate company insurance claims ie: public liability, motor vehicle etc.
