Hi-Tech Electrical is a long established, successful business within the Electrical and manufacturing industry. We are seeking an Accounts & Administration Officer to join our small team. This position is diverse and will see you working across Accounts Payable and Receivable areas, as well as liaising with employees, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

* Customer Service and Reception: acting as first point of contact for the business via both phone and email
* Liaising with staff, suppliers, customers, and other external parties as appropriate on behalf of the business
* Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable:

* processing invoices, overdue debtor follow-up

* EOM Debtor invoicing close off and sending Statements
* Checking off Delivery Dockets against Purchase Orders and matching to Supplier Invoices
* Completing Trade References
* Completing Credit Checks for new customer accounts
* Taking customer payments, managing Point of Sale devices
* General office administration including filing and archiving, maintaining office supplies, etc
* General and Financial data entry, including entering Electrical Project Hours from weekly timesheets
* Check staff attendance records and ensure this is complete, collate and provide to outsourced payroll service provider
* Personal Assistant duties to Company Director and other duties as required by Management
* General contribution to overall company management

Qualifications/Skills required:

* Previous accounts and administration experience is essential
* Strong computer literacy with ability to learn new systems
* Experience with XERO highly desirable
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: basic Word/Outlook/Excel essential
* Data entry skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong time management skills with ability to independently manage own workflow and manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication skills, ability to work as a team and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders (including fellow employees, customers and suppliers and outsourced providers)
* Proactive with the ability to problem-solve

This is a part-time position, 2 days per week being Monday and Thursday.

This position is available for an immediate start for the right candidate.
