About us & the role

We looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to join our Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & Maitland team based out of our Broadmeadow office.

As an Fleet Operations Manager, you will be responsible for daily job management for our Electrical technicians, scheduling, communication with clients, ordering of materials, ensuring jobs run smoothly and efficiently.

What your day will look like

* Hybrid work environment (In-office and home) - Set yourself up at home with a coffee and start work on your company computer and with your work collogues at the Broadmeadow office.
* On the phone - Talk to your team of electricians and make sure operations are running smoothly and communicate with clients to understand their needs that builds relationships.
* Job Management System - Talk to clients and understand their needs, schedule the works required, update customer portals and schedule time blocks using simPRO as the job management system.
* Visit Sites - talk to clients to understand their needs to be able to service and schedule appropriately.

Work type & locations

Works generally consisting of residential, commercial and industrial repair and installations all over Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & Maitland.

Skills & requirements

* A great communicator
* Proficient in computer applications, including the full Microsoft Office Suite.
* Understanding fleet scheduling and managing technician schedules to best suit client needs and maximise business profitability.
* Electrical trade understanding is beneficial or willing to learn.
* Current drivers license
* Be very organized, have strong customer service skills and present in a professional manner.
* Be able to work independently.
