Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice Mentor (Part‐Time / Flexible)
Location: Richmond (Sydney), NSW
Schedule: 2 to 4 Days per week (No Fridays, No Weekends)
At Airbus Richmond, we perform heavy maintenance and modifications on the RAAF's vital C‐130J Hercules fleet. We are looking for experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical, Structures, or Avionics) to step into a mentorship role and support our up‐and‐coming apprentices.

True Flexibility: This role is tailor‐made for semi‐retired professionals, those transitioning out of the military, or anyone seeking meaningful part‐time work. You can work anywhere from 2 to 4 days a week (our site operates Monday to Thursday—enjoy a permanent 3‐day weekend).
Impact Over Hard Labour: Your primary tool will be your wisdom. You will guide, supervise, and mentor RAAF Fitters and Airbus apprentices as they progress toward their AME qualifications.

Note: Prior military experience, heavy maintenance experience, or specific C‐130J knowledge is highly regarded, but absolutely not mandatory.

Applicants must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and satisfy standard pre‐employment screening, including police check, medical, and drug/alcohol testing.
