This is a permanent part‐time (0.38 FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026.

Role

As a cleaner, you will play a vital function ensuring the school is a clean, safe and hygienic environment for our staff, students, and community members.

Responsibilities

* Internal cleaning duties: maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, dusting, rubbish removal, and other general cleaning tasks.
* External cleaning duties: cleaning of covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, and other general cleaning.
* Vacation cleaning duties: stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas, and other duties as required by the Cleaner in Charge.

Eligibility

* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
