This recruitment pool will run for a period of twelve (12) months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts and permanent opportunities.
Currently, there is one (1) fixed term contract for twelve (12) months commencing 2 February for filling.

About Role
Reporting to the Administration Officer, the Clerical Officer provides clerical support to the Branch, ensuring approved administrative processes are adhered to.

This includes, but is not limited to word processing, data entry, maintaining correspondence and filing systems, attending to reception and general clerical duties.

As part of the North Metro Youth Justice Administration Team the successful applicant will be expected to:

* Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external clients by being helpful, efficient and diligent.
* Participate constructively and positively within workplace teams to achieve set tasks and goals.
* Follow workplace policies and procedures.
* Access and apply identified and appropriate information to achieve tasks.
* Use available and allocated resources to ensure tasks are achieved efficiently.
* Participate within and contribute to a positive and innovative workplace environment.
* Participate in the identification of and apply opportunities for continuous improvement within the team.

Eligibility
Special conditions
- Must hold a current C class driver's licence.

Permanent positions
– To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

WWC positions
– In accordance with the National Child Safety Principles, people who work directly with children and young people, you must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.

Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of twelve (12) months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
