We’re searching for an experienced Credit Control Officer to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner. In this role, you'll rely on your strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with both our branch network and customers. Attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative are essential for success in this position. We have hybrid working in place however our team generally spend 4 days working together in our Dandenong South office, each week. Key Responsibilities: Assess new Account Applications including review of credit reports and risk assessment to protect the company from trading with customers that are unacceptable risks. Communicate with customers and branches regarding the prospect of opening or declining an application. Managing a high volume of inbound/outbound calls. Working closely with the branch network to resolve account queries, including account payments and invoicing. Sets, monitors and updates customer credit limits. Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following: Great written and verbal communication skills, along with an engaging and professional manner. Ideally you will have prior credit experience however we will also consider applications from individuals with aligned experience and skills Excellent MS Office Suite proficiency Strong attention to detail with proven time management, planning & organisation skills The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships – within Reece and with our customers and other stakeholders Ability to excel in a high pressure fast paced environment Self-motivated, results driven and strong problem-solving skills, along with an ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Actively seeks new ideas and feedback, challenging own thoughts to discover new insights.
