As a result of the company’s continued growth, an excellent Fulltime opportunity has become available for suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor QC to join our Defence and Commercial site-based teams in Henderson
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Project Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise the performance of an excellent team of skilled and trained personal within the Defence and Commercial site-based team
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following essential experience.
* Extensive Supervisory experience
* Ability to conduct QA inspections and testing as per ITP
* Estimation knowledge and experience would be highly desired but not essential.
* Ability to create, revise and/or submit documentation such as coating reports, ITP’s, JSEA’s etc.
* The demonstrated ability to ensure that quality work is completed safely, on time and within budget
* Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligations
* Marine Experience working on Submarines an Naval Vessels highly desirable
* Proficient computer skills
* Experience with 2-pack paints
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills
* Actively seek out ideas for continuous improvement
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
* NACE 2 Essential
* Current Australian Drivers Licence Essential
* Ability to Obtain Baseline Security Clearance Essential
* Certificate III in Surface Preparation (desired)
* Working at Heights and Confined Space
* OHS Construction White Card
* Hold or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Essential
