About the Role
We're hiring a Commercial Planning Analyst to lead data-driven strategy and automation across operations. This role blends strategic ownership with hands-on technical execution, enabling smarter scheduling, asset planning, and commercial performance. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to embed analytics into everyday decision-making and deliver measurable impact.
This role requires strong stakeholder engagement across field teams, operations, finance, and senior leadership, as well as ownership of ERP data and system usability for all users.
What You’ll Do
1. Strategic Ownership
You're not just analyzing data — you're designing and driving frameworks that improve technician scheduling, asset planning, and commercial performance. You’re helping shape how the business operates day-to-day and long-term.
2. Technical Execution
Hands-on with tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Build dashboards, automate workflows, and maintain ERP data integrity to ensure decisions are based on clean, reliable data.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
You work closely with GMs, operations, finance, field teams, and senior leadership. You lead analysts and help executives interpret complex data to guide high-level decisions.
4. System & Process Optimization
Standardize system configurations to make tools intuitive for schedulers, technicians, and admin teams. Identify inefficiencies and implement automation to improve productivity.
5. Commercial Impact
You support pricing and margin analytics, contribute to tender strategy, and deliver insights that directly affect profitability and service delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years in Business/Data Analysis or similar roles.
- Advanced Excel (Power Query, VBA/macros), strong SQL (SSMS, ETL), and Power BI experience.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strategic problem-solving with commercial acumen.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
- Familiarity with field services (HVAC, fire, etc.) and pricing/tender strategy is a plus.
