* Salary: $140k - $170k + Super (flexible)
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role for a registered architect ready to step into genuine ownership. You'll drive design across multiple multi-residential projects, leading everything from concept development through to documentation, coordination and design oversight during delivery.
Working hand-in-hand with the Project Director and Owner, you'll be the in-house expert steering design intent, improving processes, and ensuring outcomes that align with project vision and constructability.
As the business grows, you'll also have the opportunity to hire and develop an internal design team under you.

A respected builder/developer based in Oxley delivering architecturally driven multi-residential projects across Brisbane valued $20m - $60m. As the pipeline grows, so is their internal capability – with design now being brought in-house to support efficiency, quality and project consistency.

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading all architectural design work internally across multiple multi‑res projects
* Developing concepts, managing documentation, and coordinating with consultants
* Ensuring design intent aligns with construction methodology and client vision
* Working closely with Project Director and Owner across the full project lifecycle
* Establishing design standards and improving internal systems
* Mentoring junior team members as the function grows
What You Bring
* Registered Architect
* Strong multi‑residential experience (preferably medium to large scale)
* Ability to work autonomously as a sole architect while collaborating with project teams
