Senior Project Manager – Digital Service Transition (Contract)

This contract Senior Project Manager will lead a critical discovery and transition initiative focused on assessing existing online services and their suitability for migration to a centralised Customer Service Platform (CSP). The role will drive a structured assessment of current digital services, identifying capability alignment, gaps, integration challenges, risks and dependencies. You will coordinate stakeholders, establish a clear delivery plan, and produce a pragmatic roadmap outlining priority services, high‐level designs, indicative timeframes, resourcing and budget considerations.
Operating in a complex environment with competing priorities and shared resources, this role requires a confident project leader who can balance strategic analysis with practical delivery, while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder alignment.
What you'll be doing
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of a digital service assessment and transition project
* Assess current online services against CSP capability, identifying gaps, integration risks and transition considerations
* Develop a clear, evidence-based roadmap for service transition, including high-level designs, timeframes, resourcing and budget estimates
* Establish and manage project plans, schedules and governance arrangements
* Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including digital, business and external partners
* Manage risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to protect delivery outcomes
* Prepare high-quality project documentation, briefings and progress reports for governance forums
* Deliver clear, timely communication to stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum
About you
You're a Senior Project Manager with strong experience delivering digital, platform or service transition initiatives in complex organisational environments. You're comfortable working in ambiguity, engaging diverse stakeholders, and translating analysis into practical, decision‐ready outputs.
