About the role
The CSSD driver/Sterile Stock Assistant will support the transport of reusable medical devices between the main perioperative complex and the day surgery. This role will involve driving a Calvary vehicle to deliver road carts containing equipment between the sites. The role will also provide support and assistance to the sterile stock team.
Your main duties will include:
Driving stock between the main hospital and the surgicentre
Collecting or delivering equipment to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital or surrounding sites
Assistance with theatre set up and sterile stock management
Comply with state and federal laws associated with use of a motor vehicle
About you
NSW Driver licence, minimum P2, with evidence of safe driving record.
NSW Police record check and Working with Children check
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated contribution to teamwork and quality and safety initiatives
