About The Job
As part of the Tax Consulting team, your focus will be on providing outstanding tax advisory services to a diverse client portfolio, including international corporates, privately-owned businesses and high‑wealth family groups. You will assist with complex compliance obligations for our growing portfolio of international corporate clients. You will be a key contributor to our fast-growing business and will help build our future as well as your own career.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
* Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
* Drafting advice for clients in relation to various Australian taxation issues
* Assistance in relation to structuring of businesses and investments
* Liaising and negotiating with the ATO on behalf of clients
* Providing high level of tax advice in all areas of taxation
* Provide services to local and international clients
* Work across a diverse range of industries
* Tax advisory for companies and individuals
* Assist with taxation compliance for complex clients
* Report to the Tax partners
About You
* Ideally have 5 or more years experience in Tax Advisory within Australian accounting firm. Candidates with either generalist corporate tax experience or experience in a specialist role (e.g. transfer pricing) are encouraged to apply.
* Experience in income tax advice relating to corporate tax, CGT, companies, personal income tax and international tax
* Have or completing a Masters of Tax or similar ideal
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
* Willingness to learn
