We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Processing Operator to lead our day-to-day processing operations.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in processing and a proven track record of ensuring safe and efficient plant performance. They will be responsible for monitoring production targets, supporting the development of other operators, and contributing to maintaining high operational standards.
The Senior Processing Operator will play a key role in the success of our processing team, working closely with the Shift Supervisor to resolve issues and ensure smooth mill operation.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate the process plant and related support systems, including crushing, grinding, and tails disposal.
* Support the Shift Supervisor with overall operation of the mill, including resolution of issues as required.
* Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Record operational and production data.
* React quickly and efficiently in emergency shutdowns and power failures.
* Conduct regular sampling, testing, and quality control activities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in processing, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Gold Processing Plant.
* Previous experience working as a Senior Operator, with exposure to Shift Supervision preferred.
* High proficiency with Citect Software.
* Current Manual Driver's Licence.
