Job Summary
As a Disaster Recovery Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping the team restore business operations in the event of a disaster. This position requires strong analytical skills to process vast amounts of data and produce meaningful reports using tools like Power BI and MS Excel. You will work closely with stakeholders and the IT Leadership team to develop and execute a Disaster Recovery Testing Calendar across both Australia and international sites.
About the Role
This position is responsible for maintaining Disaster Recovery Standards for the organisation. You will manage and uplift the HN Disaster Recovery process for critical applications/services both in a Cloud and an on-premises environment. Your key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining Disaster Recovery Standards for the organisation.
* Managing and uplifting the Disaster Recovery process for critical applications/services.
* Collaborating with stakeholders and the IT Leadership team to develop and execute a Disaster Recovery Testing Calendar.
* Maintaining Disaster Recovery Runbooks for all critical applications/services.
* Guiding the development of Disaster Recovery strategies for critical applications to ensure recovery in the event of incidents.
* Managing the recovery of critical applications and services in the event of any incidents requiring Disaster Recovery.
About You
You should have at least 3 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on Disaster Recovery. A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent work experience is also required. You will also have:
* Excellent analytical skills to process vast amounts of data and produce meaningful reports.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
* Solid knowledge of disaster recovery frameworks such as ISO 22301/27031.
* One or more Disaster Recovery certifications (EDRP, DRCP, CBCP) would be advantageous.
