Technical Specialist – GEOSPACES Program
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and intelligence partners to design, implement, and maintain intelligence mission systems. Your responsibilities include engineering control, software design and build, data integration, automation and scripting, platform operations, deployment and delivery, security and compliance, documentation, and collaboration with architects and engineers across disciplines.

Responsibilities
* Engineering Control – Drive efficient engineering and configuration control processes to assure mission system performance and availability.
* Software Design & Build – Assist in the design and implementation of software systems using automation tools and modern DevOps practices.
* Data Integration – Deploy and operate data ingestion pipelines and configure workflow management systems.
* Automation & Scripting – Develop scripts to provision, configure, and manage systems efficiently and reliably.
* Platform Operations – Monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security.
* Deployment & Delivery – Support the creation of CI/CD pipelines, build releases, and enable smooth delivery of applications and services.
* Security & Compliance – Integrate security best practices into infrastructure workflows, including secrets management, access control, and compliance automation.
* Documentation & Knowledge Sharing – Produce clear technical documentation to support operational excellence and team collaboration.
* Collaboration – Work closely with architects, engineers across disciplines to deliver and improve platform capabilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in relevant Engineering and/or Information Technology domains.
* Experience designing, building, and supporting complex IT infrastructure platforms.
* Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies, including Terraform and Ansible.
* Strong understanding of networking, system integration, cloud‐native services, and infrastructure architecture across hybrid and multi‐cloud environments.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Security Clearance
Due to the nature of the role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active TSPV or NV‐2 security clearance, with potential uplift to a TSPV clearance.
