Job Description
o Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
o Conduct budget forecasting and variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met.
o Collaborate with internal departments to optimise financial processes and outcomes.
o Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
o Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
o Ensure compliance with public sector accounting standards and regulations.
o Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
o Assist in developing long-term financial strategies for the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
o A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
o Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
o Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
o A thorough understanding of accounting principles and public sector regulations.
o Excellent communication skills to present financial insights to stakeholders.
