Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
* Lead multiple construction projects simultaneously, coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning through to completion
* Develop, manage and track detailed project programs to ensure timely delivery
* Responsibility for commercial outcomes including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin performance
* Manage client relationships, including regular reporting, meetings, and issue resolution
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities
* Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor engagement, and contract administration
* Lead and mentor project teams including engineers, supervisors, and site personnel
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and regulatory requirements
* Drive a strong safety culture aligned with WHS standards and company expectations
* Oversee quality assurance processes, inspections, and documentation
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Assist in the planning and delivery of projects from start to finish
* Prepare and manage project documentation including ITPs, SWMS, and construction methodologies
* Coordinate site activities and supervise subcontractors to meet program requirements
* Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource allocation
* Track project costs and assist with forecasting, variations, and reporting
* Support procurement including sourcing materials, plant, and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues
* Contribute to project programming and short‐term planning
* Maintain accurate records including daily diaries, progress reports, and as‐constructed information
What we're looking for
* Significant experience as a Project Engineer/Manager in the construction industry
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget ($5M to $15M CV)
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
* Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
