Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation;
* Assist clients with mobility and transfers;
* Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote client independence;
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care;
* Provide emotional support and advocacy for clients and their families.
Requirements:
* Qualifications in disability support or a related field (Certificate III in Disability or Diploma in Community Services);
* Experience working with people with disabilities;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
* Current first aid certificate;
* NDIS worker screening check clearance.
