About the Role
Based in our Paget workshop, the Hydraulic Fitter will be responsible for:
* Disassembly, inspection, and assembly of hydraulic cylinders and engineering components
* Precision measurement using specialised tooling
* Basic failure analysis and NDT crack testing of components
* Hydraulic testing of cylinders
* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
* Operating hydraulic machinery and testing equipment
* Maintaining a consistently high standard of safety and compliance with work instructions
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Relevant trade qualifications
* Proven experience with hydraulic cylinders and related components
* The ability to strip, measure, inspect, assemble, and test hydraulic cylinder components
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* A strong commitment to safety and the wellbeing of yourself and your teammates
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support apprentice development
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
