Shift times: 8:15‐9:15 AM and 2:30‐3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (1 hour each shift). School crossings require 20 hours of supervision per fortnight.
In this Role
* Supervise school crossings to ensure the safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists.
* Act as a visible, approachable community safety officer during school zone hours.
* Maintain a safe environment: provide crowd control, monitor traffic, and report incidents.
* Assist with traffic detours and liaise with local authorities as needed.
About You
* 18 years of age or older at the time of appointment.
* Reliable, punctual and prepared to work in all weather conditions.
* Strong communication skills and keen awareness of potential road safety hazards.
* Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, reference checks, police check and a health assessment (previous checks are an advantage).
* Community‐focused and enthusiastic about building positive relations with families.
