Provide strategic and operational management support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) of the Faculty of Arts and Society.
About the Position
As the Faculty Manager you will provide strategic and operational management support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) of the Faculty of Arts and Society, ensuring quality and consistency of faculty service delivery.
You will be an advisor to the PVC and Faculty Executive on all matters pertaining to the University policies, operations, and business processes and will hold administrative responsibility for governance, strategic and operational planning, administrative services and support, the operational management of Faculty resources (people, physical and financial), external engagement activities, and the operations of the PVC office.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
1. A postgraduate level qualification (or working towards) in business management or other relevant discipline with experience OR extensive experience and management knowledge with a combination of relevant experience and training
2. Outstanding planning skills and a demonstrated ability to establish and communicate a long-term strategic vision and manage large-scale resources in a large, complex organisation
3. Extensive executive management experience and leadership skills and proven ability to successfully manage diverse operations including student, corporate and business services in a higher education or similar environment across multiple locations
4. Superior leadership and management skills including financial acumen and a demonstrated ability to build effective high-performing teams
5. Highly effective cross cultural, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to negotiate, consult, influence, and establish strategic alliances with stakeholders internally, externally and globally
6. Exceptional project management skills, and a proven record of successfully managing and completing all aspects of large, complex, and organisation-wide projects including implementation and change management
7. A well-developed understanding of organisational dynamics and change management methodologies particularly in the higher education or similar sector
8. Proficient skills in Information Management to efficiently manage digital files, documents and data including experience in file management systems, cloud storage platforms and document collaboration tools

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 10. The base salary will be in the range of $123,898 - $137,506 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $144,960 - $160,882 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
