Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage payroll and finance-related tasks. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payroll on a fortnightly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Maintain and administer the payroll and time attendance system, ensuring it is up-to-date and running smoothly.
* Process new starter and termination paperwork, liaising with relevant stakeholders as required.
* Provide support to the wider finance team, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
* Conduct general bookkeeping and data management tasks, including preparing reports and reconciliations.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain regulatory compliance.
* Assist with audits as required, providing detailed information and explanations when requested.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in accounting or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in payroll and finance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure.
* Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
