About the Role

As a Relationship Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of customers in the Agribusiness industry, driving growth through acquisition, increasing share of wallet and referrals.

You'll solve complex challenges, deepening your technical expertise across banking products like working capital financing, trade finance, cash management and trade facilities.

Agribusiness is a targeted growth area of ANZ's commercial strategy, backed by a supportive leadership team and investment in new systems and technologies. This opportunity will take your commercial banking career to the next level, setting you up for pathways within our commercial division or other areas of ANZ.


Key Responsibilities:

* Managing a portfolio of Agribusiness customers with a customer-centric approach
* Collaborating with Product Partners and the credit team to structure deals
* Building valued relationships with operations teams to build efficiencies and minimise non-lending losses
* Applying strong credit and industry portfolio analysis skills towards credit proposal recommendations
* Managing compliance and assessing transactions
* Adhering to Group Audit requirements and QA compliance standards
* Working closely with lending services to minimise provisions
* Demonstrating mastery of your specialisation and capabilities within Commercial mid-market & specialist segment domains


What You'll Bring:

* Ability to build long-term client relationships supported by best-in-class customer satisfaction outcomes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage executives and financial decision-makers
* Strong understanding of Commercial mid-market banking products and ability to analyse financial statements
* Ability to identify financial opportunities for clients and recommend appropriate banking products and services
* Ability to negotiate and structure complex banking deals
* Proficiency in evaluating credit risk and managing the lending process
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles
