As the Condition Monitoring Supervisor – internally known as Supervisor Asset Management – Asset Health, you will be leading a team of Condition Monitoring Technicians accountable for the Boddington Process Plant to ensure optimal performance and compliance with associated standards and guidelines. Assist in development of plans and budgets
Co-ordinates Asset Health programs
Ensure compliance with Management systems that facilitate safe and efficient operations in alignment with Newmont vision& values.
Resolving asset health priorities in conformance with short-term and long-term production goals.
Assess data to apply asset utilization and cost-effectiveness.
Provide reports on asset health to senior management
Ensure QA/QC and continuous improvement initiatives are delivered
Ensure team members are compliant with systems and processes
Responsible for assessing relevant risks, executing mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring for risks
About youYou will have significant experience in condition monitoring analysis roles, including time on site based in-field, and working knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and regulations, asset management programs, risk management, data analysis, QA/QC and continuous improvement initiatives. An effective team leader, you will be capable of clearly explaining to your team their core purpose and where they add value and actively encouraging team members to identify critical issues that affect their work. You will review team members' performance ensuring a positive and productive team environment is maintained. You will understand the team's work and be able to explain their contribution to the department’s objectives. Your willingness to escalate critical issues or problems when they arise whilst providing improvement suggestions for better outcomes will be essential. You will ensure you and your team have full understanding of allocated tasks, regularly seek feedback for continuous improvement. On a personal level you will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop teams to deliver performance improvement initiatives. You will have the ability to quickly assess information to diagnose problems and opportunities, with a track record of strong professional judgement and critical thinking and the ability to work collaboratively within a high performing, multi-disciplined, diverse team. Qualifications
Vibration Analysis – minimum ISO Level 2 certification.
Lubrication Analysis – minimum ICML Level 1 certification.
Experience with Thermography and Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements.
Medium level of computer software competency.
Experience with Emmerson and SAP platforms well regarded.
Formal qualifications in Engineering or relevant Trade.
