Job Description
This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment to assist with food preparation and presentation.
* Key responsibilities include performing knife skills, mise en place, cooking techniques, and duties.
* Produce a consistent high-quality product and standard.
* Maintain equipment, utensils, and a clean and hygienic kitchen.
The ideal candidate will have completed a Certificate 3 in Cookery qualification, recognised in Australia, and have previous experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
The position operates on a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work efficiently, organise their time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.

* Developed knife, food preparation, and cookery skills.
* Solid knowledge of kitchen sections, service styles, mis en place procedures, food items, cookery techniques, sauces, cold larder, vegetables, and butchery.
