About the role:
The Night Manager oversees overnight operations, including auditing and reconciling daily financial transactions, ensuring accounts are accurate and compliant with policies. The role involves assisting with room service, concierge services, and delivering exceptional guest service.
The position involves night shifts from 11 pm to 7 am on a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive audits of daily revenue postings and make necessary adjustments for reporting accuracy.
* Support the Front Office team and other departments as needed.
* Ensure accurate recording of reservation details, including room rates, stay dates, and charging authority.
* Prepare departure paperwork, including credit card and company charges, for the accounts department.
* Maintain property safety, security, and efficient overnight hotel operations.
* Prepare and distribute relevant reports; maintain weekly and monthly hotel statistics.
* Process management accounts as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with Opera or similar PMS software.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
* Friendly, outgoing personality with high grooming standards.
* Proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Strong financial, analytical, and computer literacy skills.
* Knowledge of security and emergency procedures; capable of assisting in these areas.
* Previous experience in hospitality is essential.
